BearingPoint Helps Minnesota County Integrate Human Services

The Client

Ramsey County Community Health Services serves the heath service needs of Ramsey County, Minnesota’s second most populous county and home to the state’s capital, St. Paul.

The Challenge

Overcoming the barriers of delivering agency services in more efficient ways, Ramsey County needed the innovative use of Web services to integrate diverse back-end systems and make it more accessible for clients eliminating the need for clients to apply separately for each assistance program.

The Solution

The Ramsey Design Project incorporates a single point of access leading to a holistic view of clients, integration of service delivery management, better management of high-cost, high-need clients; and success based on client outcomes, not on number of program clients. To achieve this, Ramsey County chose BearingPoint to implement enabling the Web-based user interface Common Access Front-end (CAF? computer system.

The Benefits

CAF?supports Ramsey County’s goal of providing progressive, client-centered system of care that produces better outcomes through better service through role-based security, data privacy, client contact and intake, intake and screening, verification and service profiling.
