The Client

A major U.S. bank that grows its business and revenues by acquiring and merging with other banks.

The Challenge

Following a merger, the client needed to integrate four different banking websites, all with varying levels of content and functionality, as well as to allow retail customers access to an Internet banking application. The client viewed this integration as an opportunity to redesign the website using the new company’s brand image, and had hired a website design and development firm to help with this effort. The client’s Interactive Delivery Group needed strategic leadership, project management, and technical guidance during this integration effort. The client also needed a review to ensure they had the appropriate personnel in place to complete all of the integration-related projects and to maintain the existing websites.

The Solution

BearingPoint assessed the organization’s available resources and provided overall project management assistance for the website integration efforts. During the process, we:

  • Maintained and coordinated production changes to the four legacy websites.
  • Coordinated efforts between third-party providers and the client.
  • Facilitated the resolution of issues in order to keep the project on track.
  • Developed and delivered training to the business owners on the website’s content management system
